Middlesbrough gallery celebrates fifth birthday
The Baltic art gallery in Gateshead is to open an offshoot gallery in a new arts complex in neighbouring Newcastle.

Britain's National Gallery and the National Galleries of Scotland have raised $70 million to buy the Renaissance masterpiece Diana and Callisto.


A new exhibition at the Art Gallery at the Confederation Centre of the Arts, focusing on beer and hockey, will see the gallery converted into an actual sports bar.
