Regulators shut down 20 nuclear plants — sub-standard parts used

French nuclear regulators have confirmed that 20 of France's 58 nuclear power plant reactors have been shut down, and possibly more will shut down in the coming weeks after the discovery of widespread carbon segregation problems in critical components.
