Someone has been secretly filming women from behind as they walk around the area of Dalhousie University, and then posting the footage on YouTube. Police in Halifax are now reviewing the videos.

The AbitibiBowater plant in Dalhousie New Brunswick is closing today and the over 300 workers will find themselves unemployed some have are in retraining but as yet no word about severance packages or pensions has reached the workers.

The Greater Dalhousie Diversification Committee, formed under a month ago in response to the impending closure of the Dalhousie AbitibiBowater mill, has begun to prioritise its activities. The Committee is encouraged by how the meetings are progressing.

The people of the northern New Brunswick town of Dalhousie are determined to keep the mill running at a rally held in support of keeping the mill open the idea of expropriation was brought up.

The AbitibiBowater mill in Dalhousie New Brunswick is scheduled to close at the end of January. Today 600 people from around the region showed up to lend their support to the town.
