Privacy rights are valuable and must not be violated by the government under the garb of national security. This article is analysing whether the citizens have a right to self-defense against the State if the latter is violating their rights illegally?
India has recently come up with the Information Technology (Amendment) Bill, 2008 that has proposed to further weaken the existing Cyber law of India, i.e. IT Act, 2000. This work is analysing the future impact of e-surveillance in India.
