Two young B.C. girls sliding on a toboggan were badly injured when they flew over a ditch and ended up in the middle of the road where they were struck by a Jeep. They have been flown to B.C. Children's Hospital suffering from serious injuries.

A policeman patrolling outside a teen dance party at Cranbrook, B.C. Middle School ran down an 11-year-old student. The girl has been flown to Children's Hospital where her condition is stable.
