Elephants communicate through super-low air power

The sound of an elephant 'blowing its trumpet' is a familiar one. However, scientists have also worked out that elephants also use very low pitch sounds, too quiet for humans to hear, to communicate with one another.

Researchers at the University of California, Los Angeles are working on car to car communication that will enable it to relay dangerous road conditions via a wireless network. Traffic, fog warnings and icy conditions information can be communicated.
