FAA reports civilian drone safety incidents are soaring

The number of reported drone safety incidents has grown dramatically this year, with close to as many mishaps in the first nine months of 2017 as there was in all of last year, according to the FAA.

Canada will make back-up cameras on new cars mandatory in 2018

Ottawa - Beginning in May 2018, all new cars and small trucks sold in Canada will have to be equipped with rear-view or back-up cameras. It is hoped the new regulations will prevent injuries and deaths of those struck by vehicles in the process of backing up.

Ontario drivers improved slightly according to the second Ontario Safe Driving Study by Allstate Insurance Company of Canada. Belleville drivers had the lowest number of car collisions in Ontario while Brampton rated with the highest number.
