Leesburg - Yesterday crowds came out and lined the streets to see the Christmas and Holiday Parade in Leesburg, Virginia. This parade is an annual tradition that celebrates the festive season.

Aaliyah Carter, 11, died in a horrible accident during the Beaumont, Texas Christmas parade on Saturday. She had been running along side one of the floats when she tripped and fell under the wheels.

Seven year old Jacob Johns had a great view of the Christmas parade on Saturday. That is until the float he was riding on ran him over. The Florida boy is now in hospital recovering from his injuries.

There were several pairs of dogs that marched through the parade route.

Leesburg Police pulled several kids through the parade in these 55 gallon drum carts.
A large John Deere tractor pulls this festive group as they wave to crowds. The baby to the right had a Santa hat on earlier in the morning and looked simply adorable.
