The producers of television soap opera Coronation Street have re-filmed this evening’s episode in order to remove references to a body having been found in a canal in Manchester.

Out of respect to the family of the late Christopher Brahney, his friends have asked all members to leave the Facebook page that was set up to help find him.

Manchester - Manchester Police have confirmed that a body found in the Manchester Ship Canal this morning is that of Christopher Brahney, missing since Friday June 29.
