Charlotte - The Thin Blue Ride Line ride, running from from Cox Harley-Davidson in Rock Hill, SC to Harley-Davidson of Charlotte, NC, starts off my season of great rides and stands out as my favorite for many good reasons.

Charlotte - South Carolina rarely sees snow and even less rarely sees it accumulate but today accumulations began with a bang as thunder and snow squalls hit leaving some areas accumulating up to 4 inches, the first accumulations in 2 years.

Washington - After a mid-April Gallup poll showing Mitt Romney leading the president was published, Obama advisor David Axelrod attempted to intimidate Gallup staffers with a string of bully emails.

Charlotte - It seems there is a talented and light-hearted traffic cop in Charlotte, NC. He brightened everyone's day, dancing like Michael Jackson.

Chicago - While Mayor Rahm Emanuel worked crowds and gave a speech on behalf of President Obama at the Democratic Convention, a looming teachers strike and bloody shootings plague Chicago.

Toronto - It wasn’t pretty but the Toronto Raptors were finally able to defeat NBA’s last place team, the Charlotte Bobcats, and finished its five-game home stand with a 3-2 record.

Toronto - After an emotional week and three tough losses against two of NBA’s better teams and sensation Jeremy Lin, a match against last place Charlotte Bobcats would have been either the win to reward Toronto Raptors’ great play or the perfect letdown game.

Charlotte - A North Carolina couple has filed a lawsuit against Air Tran Airways after a flight they say they boarded at Charlotte Douglas International Airport became infested with cockroaches causing them great distress.

Charlotte - The Clippers were on a two game winning streak coming into tonight against the Bobcats that will start a six game road trip. Charlotte losing Gerald Wallace looks like it is affecting team as they are now on a five game losing streak with this loss.

Denver - The Nuggets have been proving to their fans that they can still be good without Carmelo Anthony and this 40 points drumming of the Bobcats helped out big time. The Nuggets have now won 5 of 6 games without Melo and is still in the playoff race
