San Fransisco - In a business where skittish freelance is routine and a check might be in the mail, even when the work was done months ago, one who knew this very well was film/theater critic and journalist, Tom Mayer. He died suddenly this past summer.

Miss San Francisco and her fellow title holders. Among them Holly Heiserman, Miss Golden Gate 2011. They appeared on stage to present Barbara Eden a plaque from the Mayor proclaiming July 10, "Barbara Eden Day." Heiserman said that she watched "I Dream of Jeannie" on the Nick-at-Night" channel on Cable TV. And loved it. She was surprised to learn that Eden worked at Wells Fargo while aiming to be an actress.
