World's longest, enviro-friendly buses start service in Brazil

Curitiba - The Brazilian city of Curitiba, recognized for its innovation in urban planning, is inaugurating the service of new 28-metre-long double-articulated buses powered with fuel made from soybeans.

Greyhound eyes reducing more service in parts of British Columbia

Greyhound announced Thursday that it was reducing service to some communities in British Columbia, but said that, unlike the cuts to Manitoba and north Ontario, service would still continue.

Threatening other cuts to its service, the Ontario-based intercity and interprovincial bus company, Greyhound, said it is "reviewing" its services in British Columbia, the Yukon, Saskatchewan, Alberta and the Northwest Territories.
