In Yala, Thailand, three bomb blasts have killed nine people and have wounded many more, according to Thailand's military. One car bomb and two motorcycle bombs were involved.

Three people died in a suicide car bomb attack at a church in the central Nigerian city of Jos. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack, but the attack follows the pattern of Boko Haram bombings in Nigeria in recent times

An Iranian bomber bungled his way pathetically through a bombing mission. After accidentally blowing up his own house, he blew off his own legs after a grenade he hurled at Thai police bounced off a tree and then exploded at his feet.

Four men have admitted to an Al-Qaeda inspired conspiracy to bomb the London Stock Exchange. The men, from London and Cardiff, were arrested in December 2010 and are standing trial at the Woolwich Crown Court.
