I like the low angle. That is a classic way to approach shooting animals. And I like the garbage in the background. It says seagulls. I cropped the image a little to eliminate empty space that did not seem to reinforce your statement. Andrew Moran

Two kinds of birds and two active areas in the picture. There are some nice visual things going on here. The planks lead to a vanishing point, giving the image increased depth. And there is a nice visual swoop of points of interest that, for me, leads from the pigeon in the forefront up and over to the seagull flapping its wings. The fact the two gulls above the pigeon are both looking right helps strengthen this line of interest. Andrew Moran

This has great action. Nice catch. I cropped it to accent the action but I kept the other birds to add atmosphere. I kept the cockeyed horizon as it says, "This was a difficult moment to grab." Andrew Moran
