Keene, NH - GOP Presidential candidate Ron Paul rebuked the relationship between the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the pharmaceutical industry during a press conference, stating that "the FDA and the drug companies are in bed together."
The world is big business. The world is poor. More people are starving than are living high on the hog. More people are dying of lack of water than sleep on beds made of gold.
Western life is fuelled by economics, and thus is dependent on the health of big business. With so many companies asking for federal funds, governments – on behalf of their citizens – must evaluate the future viability of these failing companies.
