INDYCAR: Dixon 'finally got it right' in Long Beach

Long Beach - Scott Dixon wasted little time putting his Verizon IndyCar Series season on track. After placing out of the Top 10 in the first two races, Dixon was back on the podium with a win in Sunday's Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach.

NASCAR: Rain can't dampen Kenseth's win at Bristol

Bristol - Pole sitter Matt Kenseth likely thought the day would never end at the Food City 500. In the end, it was well-worth the wait as he rolled into Victory Lane after winning his first NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race in over a year.

INDYCAR: Hinchcliffe wins in rainy Louisiana

AVONDALE, LA - Rain played havoc with the inaugural Indy Grand Prix of Louisiana, knocking out qualifying and allowing for only six green-flag laps during the final 32, but didn't dampen the spirit of James Hinchcliffe.

NASCAR: Johnson out duels Harvick for 'nutty' win in Texas

Fort Worth - It was just an old-fashioned Texas gunfight, of sorts, on Saturday night with two of NASCAR's best gunslingers battling it out for the final 14 laps of the Sprint Cup Series race. At the end of the night, Jimmie Johnson won the Duck Commander 500.

St. Petersburg - A long time has passed since Juan Pablo Montoya has won on an IndyCar road course. But the Colombian racer wasted no time in getting the 2015 Verizon IndyCar Series started.

Martinsville - It was a close finish, and a dramatic one, at Martinsville Speedway on Sunday. Brad Keselowski tapped Denny Hamlin as the two raced for the checkered flag, but Hamlin held on to win the STP 500.
