Four employees of Megaupload.com appeared in court in Auckland, New Zealand on Friday as part of a U.S. investigation that shut down the massive file-sharing website.

Kim Dotcom, the founder of the website Megaupload.com which was shut down by the Justice Department on Jan. 19 related to copyright infringement, lived a lavish lifestyle in New Zealand. Photos show numerous cars and a castle-like mansion in Coatesville, New Zealand outside Auckland.
