Amnesty asks Saudi Arabia to stop amputation sentences

Riyadh - Amnesty International has urged King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia to commute amputation sentences against six men convicted of "highway robbery." The Supreme Court of Saudi Arabia is due to approve sentences to chop off their right hands and left feet.
