Op-Ed: FCC hits the fan — Senate overturns net neutrality repeal

Washington - The FCC, reviled for its enthusiasm for overturning of net neutrality, is in trouble. The Senate has rejected net neutrality repeal, as the FCC comes under fire for allegedly faking a DDoS attack and millions of comments supporting the repeal.

Congress will vote on whether or not to bring back net neutrality

Congress will vote to restore net neutrality next week. If the measure is passed by a simple majority vote, it would still need to be signed by President Donald Trump. Right now, 48 senators appear to be in favor of the measure.

Comcast criticised for trying to shut down net neutrality site

Comcast has threatened legal action against a site run by a group of net neutrality advocates. The site in question was trying to establish who's responsible for a deluge of fake anti-net neutrality comments. Comcast has objected to the use of its name.
