A Libyan court in the capital Tripoli sentenced Gaddafi's son, Saif al-Islam to death for war crimes, including the killing of protesters during the 2011 uprising. Gaddafi, was killed by rebel forces after being captured near the city of Sirte.
Unconfirmed reports say that Col.Gaddafi's brother-in-law and former chief of Libyan intelligence, Abdullah al-Senussi, has been arrested on Sunday. He was surrounded in the same area where Saif al-Islam Gaddafi was captured on Saturday.
Negotiations regarding the surrender of Saif al-Islam Gaddafi are continuing, according to ICC prosecutor Luis Moreno-Ocampo. He said that ICC judges will determine who has jurisdiction for the trial as Saif fears a return to Libya.
Al-Saadi Gaddafi has joined other family members on Interpol's most wanted list. Interpol has responded to a request by the National Transitional Council by issuing a red notice for Saadi's arrest. Saaid is ensconced in luxurious surroundings in Niger.
