article imageGoogle selling its $1,500 Google Glass — but only on website

By Marcus Hondro     May 14, 2014 in Technology
Google has announced that it now has their still-being-developed Google Glass for sale - but only on Google's website. The Internet-connected glasses are in development but the product they have now will still set you back $1500 (plus tax).
Last month Google put the product up for sale in the U.S., but just for one day. This time there's no limit on when you can buy the product but the company accents it is still in the development or experimental stages, so what you see is what you get.
Wikipedia describes Google Glass as: A wearable computer with an optical head-mounted display. It was developed by Google with the mission of producing a mass-market ubiquitous computer. Google Glass displays information in a smartphone-like hands-free format. Wearers communicate with the Internet via natural language voice commands.
For now, the sale of Google Glass is only happening in the United States.
