Google Doodle speaks words of love

-

Google got into the Valentine's Day spirit on Friday with a search page "Doodle" featuring recorded tales of real-life love, including a moving vignette from a married gay couple.

Cartoon candy hearts adorned the Internet titan's main search page in an interactive Doodle that let visitors click on each image to hear romantic short stories.

The virtual sweets held audible treats from people sharing touching experiences under themes including "Puppy Love" and "Blind Date."

A candy stamped with "4ever Yours" could be opened to hear a man share his elation upon marrying his partner, and then his sadness in knowing their mortality would one day force them apart.

Google added a link on the page people could follow to email an animated Disney "Vinylmation Love Story" clip to their Valentines.
