A comedic mockery video from "Dorkly Bits" pokes some fun at "The Legend of Zelda" series. It gives a "theoretical" look if actual law enforcement was in LoZ.
Many of you that go online, let alone watch videos on YouTube, may have come across videos posted by the group known as College Humor which is known for several things such as “Street Fighter: The Later Years.” Through College Humor, you may have come across some videos from “Dorkly.” Dorkly has recently released one of its comedic video game mockery videos.
This comedic video is titled “If The Legend of Zelda Had Cops?” In the typical Dorkly nature, this video points out a bunch of things which become very valid points. Fans of the “Legend of Zelda” series can appreciate this mockery video in homage to the first LoZ title that came out for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES).
The video pokes fun all three of the notable characters in the game: Link (the protagonist and star of the series), the Old man in the cave, and Ganon (the primary antagonist of the series). It starts out with Link getting the sword from the Old Man in the cave; then, the cop comes in and interrupts everybody. The Old Man is accused of being a senior and delusional person having escaped from a mental asylum
What might make most crack up is the cop calling Link a mute prepubescent boy wearing no pants. The cop even takes the sword away. The funniest part of the video could be when Link is about to face off Ganon and the cop simply shoots him.
This is an example of how Dorkly uses humor to intelligent point out many valid things such as Link being a “gender ambiguous” mute child dressed up as Peter Pan.
This is one of the many Dorkly Originals. The Legend of Zelda series is one of Nintendo's most popular franchises as it has spawned many titles such as “Legend of Zelda: Link To The Past,” “Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker,” “Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time,” “Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess,” and many others.
