A special Valentine's Day trailer has been made for "Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster" which hits North American and Europe come March 2014.
Square Enix has released a new trailer for the upcoming re-release of both “Final Fantasy X” (which came out in 2001) and “Final Fantasy X-2” (which came out in 2003). Both games, remastered in high definition (HD), are being released together as “Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster” which hits North America on March 18 and Europe on March 21 for both the Playstation 3 and Playstation Vita consoles.
This special trailer, released in celebration of Valentine's Day, shows one of the most important story events in Final Fantasy X. It is where Tidus (the protagonist of Final Fantasy X) and the rest of the party invade the capital of Bevelle and rescue Yuna from the clutches of the villainous Seymour Guado. Also, the focuses on the romantic development between the game's two protagonists.
The first game focuses on defeating the being known as Sin which enters the world every 10 years to bring nothing but senseless death and destruction to the world of Spira. Tidus confronts Sin in hopes of returning to his home of Zanarkand. Final Fantasy X-2, which features Yuna as the protagonist, takes place two years after the events of Final Fantasy X in which she hunts for special spheres in order to be reunited with Tidus.
Rikku, from Final Fantasy X, returns to being part of the playable cast of Final Fantasy X-2. Rikku and Yuna are joined by newcomer Paine.
