Litecoin makes decent gains on Thursday
Up to 18:30 today the price of litecoin has made decent gains of 2 percent following the selling pressure it had experienced late Wednesday. The price found support at the falling broken wedge pattern. The price has found stability above the pattern and is attracting some buying pressure.
The 4-hour candlestick bouncing off the support could be a reversal doji, as was proved to be the case when the price moved from yesterday’s low of $53.99. With the breakout and retest, technically the bulls should be pleased as there is a potential for the price to move higher. Resistance could be seen as the price nears the $60 dollar mark and at the $62 dollar level. Support on the downside would be around the $53 region.
Present situation
Litecoin opened today at $55.06. At 11:23 it had moved up to $55.06 rising about 2.5 percent over a 24-hour period. At 21:00 it was at $56.79 a bit off the high so far of $57.76 at 17:17 according to Coingecko.
