“It feels great to be here,” he said. “I was asked by SASI about eight months ago to be a part of this event, and I’m happy to be here.”
On the importance of this SASI event, he said, “I’m the father of a child on the autism spectrum, and there is a lot of us out there who have to stick together and help each other out, and we need to get people more aware of autism, and how remarkable people on the spectrum are. Events like this help do that.”

On August 18, Foley will be at Mulcahy’s Pub and Concert Hall in Wantagh on Long Island. “I will be judging a costume contest and I’m sure it will be a fun event. I can’t wait for it to happen,” he said. At this show, the best costume wins a TV that is presented by Foley himself.
Regarding his future plans, he said, “I’m recovering from a hip replacement, so I’m getting back on the road this weekend.”
For those wrestling fans that are 21 years old and younger, the “Hardcore Legend” will be at the Eternal Con on July 1 at Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale. “If you can’t make it to Mulcahy’s, or if you’re not 21, come along to Eternal Con. It’s a great event,” Foley said.
