World champion Sam Kendricks coming to the Expo Explosion meet

On January 3rd and 4th, the Expo Explosion meet will take place in Belton, Texas. This meet is organized by Jack Chapman.

An Olympic bronze medalist, Kendricks will be there to endorse Kanstet USA’s portable pole vault runways, and he will be there to greet the pole vaulters and the coaches.

Aside from Kendricks, many top athletes from around the world will attend and the Expo Explosion will have lab classes to educate coaches and vaulters. World-class pole vaulters Jeff Hartwig and Sam Kendricks, as well as national coach TY Sevin, are expected to serve as speakers.

Big things are going to happen for “Expo XI” so be ready to join them as we grow even bigger. Jack Chapman expressed his gratitude to Vaulter Magazine, Richey Athletics, Altius Poles, VS Athletics, Whataburger, Ashley Furniture, the Bell County Expo Center for helping build the Expo into what it is today.

This past summer, as Digital Journal reported, Kendricks won the gold medal at the 2019 IAAF World Championships in Doha, Qatar, in the men’s pole vault, which is his second consecutive gold at the world championship level.
