On Saturday night Ronda Rousey stepped into the UFC octagon with Sara McMann at UFC 170, where she defeated McMann to retain her undefeated record, as well as the UFC Bantamweight Championship.
At the start of the first round McMann delivered a series of powerful punches as Rousey moved in on her.
Rousey won the fight via TKO, which is a first in her career, Fox reports. The last eight fights she won via submission (armbar).
According to USA Today, once referee Herb Dean stopped the fight, the crowd started to booed due to them thinking it was an early stoppage, as the fight lasted 66 seconds. McMann said that she should have got to her feet quicker, and she didn't say that the stoppage was early.
The knockout is the fastest knockout in UFC women's history, and Rousey's record is now 9-0.
