Fury, who is unbeaten in 24 pro fights with 18 via knockout, has been actively promoting the fight with his non-stop verbal attack against Klitschko.
“I think this is gonna be one of my easiest fights,” said Fury, who is betting £200,000 on himself to back up his claim that Klitschko is easy to beat. In a friendly betting, Fury’s uncle and trainer will pay him double (£400.000) if he wins against Klitschko.
Fury is getting £5 million for his title fight against Klitshcko and a chance to bag WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, IBO & The Ring Heavyweight titles that are at stake.
Earlier, Fury threatened to call off the fight ahead of the Saturday event over his gloves which did not fit his hands well.
The 27-year-old Briton said: “There’s a ruckus over the gloves. I mean this: If I don’t fight in the right gloves, then there’s no fight. I’m in Germany, in the town he picked, wearing the make of gloves he wanted.
On the gloves issue, Fury insists he’s not being treated fairly, saying Klitschko had it all his way during the fight negotiations.
“He’s had it all his own way in every single aspect and all I ask is that I’m treated fairly and to wear gloves which fit me, for the sake of my hands. Because this is not my last fight. After I knock him out, I’ll have other fights and I need my hands for my trade. To view details of the gloves issues, click here.
In contrast with Fury’s non-stop verbal attacks, Klitschko stays cool and sober, saying he has a colorful guy in front of him who is just after his titles.
“This time I have very colourful guy, who is young and wants to face the challenge,” Klitschko said,.
“He says he’s nervous. It’s good. I’m nervous before every fight. I’m really happy this fight is taking stage on Saturday night,” he said
“I just want to say thank you to all the fans and I’m sure it will be a great atmosphere and a great night,” he added.
Fury appears to have a slight edge over Klitscko in terms of height and reach. Fury is younger at 27 while Klitschko is 39.
