“It is going great so far,” he said, about appearing at Mulcahy’s Pub and Concert Hall in Wantagh, where he was promoting his upcoming bull riding event for the weekend. “It seems like a fun night. Everybody should come and check it out.”
On September 23 and 24, Triplett will be performing at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, New York, as part of the “toughest sport on dirt.” “You’re going to expect the Top 35 bull riders in the world going head to head against some of the best bulls in the world. It’s just a jam-packed, action sport that keeps you on the edge of your seats. You’re going to see guys get thrown in the air, and it’s going to be a great show,” he promised.
For aspiring bull riders, Triplett’s advice is as follows: “Just follow your dream and never give up in life.”
His proudest professional accomplishment, included winning third in the world.
For his fans, he said, “Thank you guys for all your support and for being behind me. It has been an awesome year, and I couldn’t do it without you guys.”
Digital transformation of bull riding
On the impact of technology in the bull riding world, he said, “The bulls have gotten way better, since they are breeding them to be the best in the world, just like the race horse world. These bulls are just getting better and better because of the breeding programs.”
When asked how he uses technology, Triplett said, “I do a lot of cryotherapy, and I work out a lot and get on as many practice bulls as I can during the week just to prepare myself for the weekend.”
For Triplett, the key to longevity in bull riding is “taking care of your body after a long weekend, and going to yoga to stretch your muscles out and doing a lot of physical therapy to keep me healthy and feeling good.”
