Pacquiao earns praises for support to Nepal earthquake victims

Pacquiao, who is on his last day of training at the Wild Card Gym in Hollywood, posted a message of sympathy and prayers on his Facebook page to the victims of the devastating 7.9 magnitude earthquake.

In his message of sympathy and prayers, Pacquiao together with wife Jinkee told the earthquake victims that they are not alone and his family will continue to pray for their safety.

“Our hearts go out to our brothers and sisters who are suffering from the recent earthquake in Nepal,”

In the video message, Pacquiao quoted a Bible verse from Joshua 1:9: “Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified, do not be discouraged for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

“You are not alone Nepal. My family and I pray for your safety and deliverance. God bless you all.” Pacquiao said.

As of 10:15 a.m. Monday, the video has generated 156,008 likes, 1, 538,353 views and thousands of comments from around the world.
