OSU starting quarterback JW Walsh injury update

Stillwater - JW Walsh was injured during the Oklahoma State University cowboys game today. After seeing him out on the field on crutches, a few updates are starting to come in on his condition.
Bleacher Report shared updates as it all went down today during the game. OSU was playing against Missouri State today when starting quarterback JW Walsh left the field with an obvious injury.
Reports are out that he left the field to get checked out and returned on crutches. He had on a walking boot along with the crutches, but the team was not quick to say what happened to him during the game.
Sam Gannon of KOKH Fox 25 out of Oklahoma City went to Twitter to share that Coach Mike Gundy said that if he is doing better next week he will be the starting quarterback once again. Daxx Garman did step up to take his place during the game today after the injury. She also shared that Coach Gundy said that they will know more on JW Walsh's condition tomorrow.
According to OK News, back in 2012 JW Walsh had a knee injury that kept him off the field. He was out for the rest of the season because of this injury. He finished the game that time, but ended up not being able to finish out the season.
KOCO shared that Oklahoma State University was able to pull of the win today over Missouri State. Daxx Garman went 16 of 26 for 244 yards. Even after JW Walsh was injured they were able to win the game 40-23 over Missouri State.
