article imageNFL Trade Rumors: Roddy White to Dallas Cowboys?

By Larry Seely     Oct 7, 2015 in Sports
Dallas - With just six catches for less than 100 yards, Roddy White isn't happy with his new role in Atlanta, but the veteran could prove useful to another NFL team if moved before the trade deadline.
It's not often a wide receiver that has produced nearly 800 receptions and 62 touchdowns finds himself looking for more targets, especially coming off a year where he had 80 catches for 921 yards and seven scores, but his disappointment and the Falcons winning big without his services, could spell the end of his days with the "Dirty Birds."
Rumors have hit social media in recent weeks concerning the Dallas Cowboys and with Dez Bryant likely out for at least two more weeks and the rest of the wide receiving group failing to step up their production, owner Jerry Jones and his staff could look to make changes while they still have a shot at winning the division.
White has reportedly complained about his role in Atlanta's offense, but he hasn't demanded a trade, instead he's assuming the company role and just showing up and doing his best each day, but when veteran players feel disrespected, it usually carries over into the locker room and that could be disastrous for a franchise finally on the move up.
After their showing the last two weeks, it's clear the Dallas Cowboys need help, especially at receiver and White could make a big difference, especially with his size in the red zone. But looking ahead, he and Bryant would make a dynamic duo and opposing defenses wouldn't be able to double team either player.
With a possible upgrade in their passing attack, that could also help open up the running game and playing against the likes of their fellow NFC East rivals, scoring points will become necessary to win football games and perhaps make some noise in the NFL Playoffs.
