NFL Power Rankings: Pats’ on top, Browns on bottom by week seven

The Patriots have looked unbeatable since Tom Brady’s return to action. This team is solid in all phases of the game and until another team can defeat the Pats’, they will remain the best squad in football.

Minnesota suffered their first loss on Sunday to Philadelphia, a game that demonstrated the Vikings offensive line issues. The Eagles used the blitz effectively all afternoon and came away with a superb 21-10 effort, improving Philly to 4-2 on the year and just one game back of the Dallas.

Speaking of the Cowboys, they now sit third overall in the league after having their bye in week seven. Rookie quarterback Dak Prescott is doing everything right this season and will make it tough to bench the youngster when Tony Romo is pronounced fit and ready to go.

Seattle is next, but the Seahawks are another NFL team struggling with offensive line issues. This week’s 6-6 tie with Arizona didn’t hurt the team in terms of leading the NFC West, but it could show weaknesses that other teams will try to exploit over the second half of the 2016 season.

Denver entered the year without high expectations, but young quarterback Trevor Siemian and one of the best defensive players in the league are doing their best to change those perceptions. This football team has plenty of weapons on offense and if the young man can continue to grow in his second year in the league, this could become a very dangerous team what the playoffs get started.

With all the good this year, Cleveland is definitely the bad. The Browns have yet to win a football game and have played six different players at QB this season. This franchise is clearly struggling and will need to overhaul the roster to start winning games, but for the die hard fans of the team, the good news is two picks in the first round are coming in next April’s draft and hopefully that becomes the start of something better.
