article imageNFL Free Agent Rumors: Garrett Graham to Green Bay Packers?

By Larry Seely     Mar 5, 2014 in Sports
Green Bay - The Green Bay Packers have a huge hole at tight end with the top two players from the position likely gone via NFL free agency, but help could be on the way in former Wisconsin star Garrett Graham.
Adam Wells of Bleacher Report has suggested that the front office for the Packers could go after the 27-year-old if he doesn't come to terms with the Houston Texans in the coming days.
Graham had 49 receptions for over 500 yards and five touchdowns last season and 77 catches for over 800 yards over the past two years, good numbers for a player that was mainly used as a backup in Houston.
Green Bay isn't known for spending much money on free agents, but with a big need on offense to help quarterback Aaron Rodgers, this looks like the year the Packers will finally open up and look outside the organization for help and with his ties to the state, Graham would be a great fit in Wisconsin and a fan favorite of the 'Cheese Heads.'
