NFL Fantasy Football: Week six wide receiver rankings

Heading into week six, a number of players are off to great starts, but its not the players your thinking of who is leading the league in yards.

Marvin Jones of the Detroit Lions has burst onto the scene with 519 yards on just 27 receptions and three touchdowns. This weeks game against Los Angles might not seem ideal, but the injury situation with the Rams defense is getting serious, making the 26-year-old a must-start player no matter what kind of league you play in.

Antonio Brown entered the 2016 season as the top ranked player in fantasy football and while he has yet to have a huge game, his numbers are still very good. This weekend he is projected to score over 20 points for owners and if the Pittsburgh Steelers can get the running game going, that breakout game could come Sunday against Miami.

T.Y. Hilton is quietly becoming a star in the league and with Andrew Luck throwing the football, there’s no reason to expect a letdown. The 26-year-old is averaging over 100 yards per game this season with three touchdowns. This weeks game against AFC South rivals Houston is big and with the Texans defense a bit banged up, look for another solid performance and 14+ points for owners.

For those who drafted poorly or looking for help because of injuries and the bye weeks, there’s plenty of good options on the waiver wire.

Chris Hogan of New England benefited most with the return of Tom Brady. The 27-year-old had four receptions for over 100 yards and with the two big tight ends now in good form, teams can’t double-team the teams best speed option on the outside and that could mean good points for owners who take a gamble on the wide receiver for the rest of the 2016 NFL season.
