NFL Fantasy Football: Top wide receiver ‘sleepers’ for 2015

The late round “sleepers” can make a difference between winning a league or having just another year of disappointment. This guide can help both the novice and seasoned players as they prepare for an upcoming draft and a shot at bragging rights for the next 12 months.

Wide receivers have become a vital part of the game and having plenty of depth on a roster is essential. Each week it seems a player comes from virtual nowhere to have a big game and in some instances a huge breakout season. Here’s a look at a couple wide outs that could have big numbers in 2015 and help fantasy football owners win a title.

Marvin Jones broke onto the scene with Cincinnati back in 2013 and for those with a good memory, he hauled in four touchdown receptions against a solid NY Jets secondary, but a foot injury cost the 25-year-old the entire 2014 season and his number two ranking on the Bengals depth chart, but that all could change now that Jones is back at full strength and ready to surpass his 700 yards and ten touchdowns from two years ago.

Pierre Garcon was a legend two years ago, but the quarterback issues and a change from the right to the left side of the Redskins offense had a big effect on the 28-year-old. The team has fixed the mistake and with Robert Griffin showing marked improvements this off season, Garcon could once again post numbers in the range of 100+ receptions and double digit touchdown catches in 2015.

For those fantasy football owners in deep leagues, Marlon Brown of Baltimore could be a steal in the later rounds. Head coach John Harbaugh has already expressed an interest in getting the young wide receiver the ball more this year and with Torrey Smith now playing elsewhere, a bigger year of production is expected for the young Ravens wide out.
