NFL Fantasy Football: Top sleepers at wide receiver for 2015

With most leagues now needing at least five quality wide outs, owners need to draft wisely and finding a late round gem is almost imperative. Here’s a look at the top three sleepers at wide receiver for the upcoming football season and how they can help bring a league title to the owners lucky enough to grab these breakout players.

Last season was big for owners willing to risk a draft pick on rookie wide receivers and this year it appears that same impact on the game could happen and it will start in Philadelphia with former USC star Nelson Agholor. The youngster has been impressive in the preseason, making every catch imaginable and with above average speed, hands, and route running, Agholor could have a big impact on the Eagles and their run to the playoffs in 2015.

Jarvis Landry was one of those major rookie producers last season, but his overall player ranking is still relatively low, but any wide out that produces five or more receptions per game over the last half of last season is a must have for fantasy football owners. Landry won’t have Mike Wallace playing opposite him for the Dolphins, but this youngster won’t need the help and should produce 1,200+ yards and could reach double figures in touchdowns with Ryan Tannehill throwing him the football.

For those looking for more experience, Eddie Royal of Chicago is a great choice. With Brandon Marshall now playing elsewhere, quarterback Jay Cutler will need a someone to step up and produce. The 29-year-old had over 700 yards and seven scores in San Diego and should see equal or better numbers for a team that will need to throw the football to win games in the tough NFC North.

Several NFL teams have already been hurt with player injuries and watching the waiver wire early in the year could result in landing a great player, but for those owners that depend on research, these three all should produce solid numbers in 2015.
