Miami - Boston Celtics General Manager Danny Ainge is in a selling mood as he looks to lower the teams salary cap before this summer, hoping to land a big name free agent and get his team back as a contender in the Eastern Conference.
Miami has the 'Big Three', but the Indiana pacers have shown the NBA and especially the Heat that they are for real. The Pacers just signed Andrew Bynum, making their roster deeper in talent and sending the league a message, this team is here to win a championship.
The Heat need to make a deal of their own and Bleacher Report writer Michael Pina has suggested they make a move to acquire Kris Humphries from Boston.
Humphries started the 2013-14 NBA season slowly, but his numbers have taken a dramatic jump over the last two months, especially when given 20+ minutes of playing time.
Udonis Haslem has played poorly this year and in part, one of the main reasons for the Heat looking up at Indiana, but a deal before the February 20 deadline, could land the Heat a force in the paint, another player with plenty of experience, and the depth needed to win another title.
