article imageNBA Trade Rumors: Kevin Love to Miami Heat?

By Larry Seely     May 24, 2014 in Sports
Miami - The Kevin Love trade rumors have hit social media hard this past week and several NBA teams could have interest in the All Star, including the Miami Heat as they look to add the talent to keep LeBron James in South Beach for a few more years.
Love has suggested he wants to be moved to a winning organization and while Los Angeles is tops on his list, a move to Florida would be appealing.
The latest rumors from Sportsgrid has suggested the Heat could use Chris Bosh as a trade tool to acquire the former UCLA star. Minnesota could use Bosh, perhaps another player, and a draft pick as compensation as the Timberwolves look to get the best possible package for the young big man.
While this deal is considered a long shot from NBA experts, it's clear that Minnesota must do something or risk losing Love and getting nothing back in return. A deal of this magnitude would definitely help both teams moving forward and give Love the opportunity to play for championships, but also give Minnesota the experience they need to take that next step forward and challenge for a top-8 spot in the Western Conference next season.
Other options for the T-Wolves include teams in the top three of next months draft, but it's unlikely Minnesota would settle for just an early pick in the first round for Love and the teams picking in these spots don't really have the talent needed to pull off a deal this large.
