Forward David Lee and the starting back court of Klay Thompsom and Stephen Curry did most of the
damage for the Warriors. The trio scored 66 points as they held off a late rally by Phoenix, sending the crowd home with a smile.
The victory keeps Golden State in sixth place in the West, 2.5 games behind Portland, but in good position to make the post season. The Suns are now tied with Memphis, both with a 36-26 record, but Phoenix must find some road wins down the stretch to jump past the Grizzlies into the final spot on the ladder.
Gerald Green led the road team in
scoring with 25 points and point guard Goran Dragic added 24, but they Suns had no answer down in the paint, being out scored by the Warriors 50-36.
