article imageNBA News and Rumors: Chris Bosh headed to Chicago Bulls?

By Larry Seely     Mar 19, 2014 in Sports
Chicago - Despite some success this season without Derrick Rose, the Chicago Bulls could finish last in the NBA offensively for the second straight season, not exactly what a team needs to win championships.
Rumors have already started on potential moves the franchise could make this summer with adding Carmelo Anthony leading the charge, but Bleacher Report writer James Davis has another opinion and one that makes sense.
With all the news surrounding Carlos Boozer and his possible departure after this season, signing a free agent like Chris Bosh could be what his team needs. The 29-year-old is playing out of position with Miami and a return to power forward would likely increase his numbers.
Another option being discussed on social media is adding International player Nikola Mirotic. The 23-year-old is playing for Real Madrid in Spain and dominating the way most experts believed he would when drafted back in 2011.
Money is an issue with both of these players, but if the Bulls use the amnesty clause on Boozer, the front office will have the room under the NBA salary cap to make some moves this summer.
This team prides itself on defense, but until they add more fire power and players that can score outside of Rose, they will continue to struggle come playoffs time, making this off-season very important for the future success of this team.
