Mayweather’s public show of his wealth happened just a few days after he dropped $3.5 million for a luxury Bugatti sports car which he purchased to boost his luxury car collection which is now worth over $19 million.
Mayweather’s new acquisition of the 2015 Bugatti came just a few days after he added two more luxury cars to his collection worth at least $6 million, which includes a Pagani Huayra and an Aston Martin One-77.
“Sources connected to Floyd tell us … after he got his brand new $3.5 million Bugatti supercar, Floyd was still itchin’ to spend more dough — so he organized a TMT outing to K.O.D … 45 PEOPLE DEEP!! Besides busting out the stacks of cash, we’re told Floyd ordered 30 bottles of champagne!!” TMZ.com writes.
“BTW, one source who was there tells us there was so much cash being thrown around, you couldn’t see the floor … and staffers busted out brooms to sweep up all the bills,” the TMZ report added.
Mayweather is a recipient of over $200 million windfall following his lucrative fight against Filipino boxing star Manny Pacquiao last May in Las Vegas, Nevada. The fight generated over $500 million in revenues, the highest grossing event in boxing history.
Nicknamed “Money,” Mayweather has accumulated millions of dollars from his top-grossing fights spanning over 19 years of unbeaten professional boxing record.
Mayweather has announced his retirement from boxing following his unanimous decision win against Andre Berto last September with a career record of 49-0.
