The incident happened just outside of Phoenix, Arizona on October 7th at 1:31 a.m., according to Arizona State Troopers who confirmed there were no casualties reported.
“We’re told the truck was transporting Floyd’s rides from Vegas to Miami when something went wrong just outside of Phoenix, Arizona on October 7th at 1:31 AM … and the entire unit went up in flames,” TMZ Sports writes.
Mayweather is a known car enthusiast and he claimed in an interview with ESPN that he has over $15 million worth of cars in his Las Vegas home garage that he never drives.
In the same interview, Mayweather showed ESPN’s Stephen Smith some of his luxury car collections including a McLaren 650S, Ferrari 458 Spider, Ferrari Enzo, Bugatti 16.4 Veyron and a Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4. Click here to view his luxury cars.
According to Josh Towbin of Towbin Motorcars, he has sold Mayweather “over 100 cars” in a span of 18 years including 16 Rolls Royces.
Mayweather, who recently made over $200 million in his recent unanimous decision win over Filipino boxing star Manny Pacquiao, is the world’s highest paid athlete.
