Denver - After setting several NFL records with their high powered offense, the Denver Broncos season ended on a sour note in the Super Bowl with a lopsided loss to Seattle, but the team could rebound if the front office can replace a couple key free agents.
Running back Knowshon Moreno and wide receiver Eric Decker player terrific football in 2013, but that could leave Denver looking for cheaper options to replace the two stars as the salary cap restrictions just won't allow the team to resign both players.
DJ Siddiqi of Bleacher Report has reported that Darren McFadden could be a good option in the backfield, despite a career filled with injuries. The former Oakland Raiders running back has the hands to help in the passing game and when healthy, the speed and size to make this offense even more dynamic next season.
Finding another big play wide receiver might prove a tougher task for the Denver Broncos, but the could find help int eh 2014 NFL Draft. The latest mocks from draft experts suggest Mississippi youngster Donte Moncrief is a good option in the middle rounds. At 6'2" and 226 pounds, Moncrief has excellent size, great hands, and the type of player Peyton Manning could use to keep this offense rolling at a high pace next season.
