Joel Corry of CBS Sports has
reported that the Browns front office could be targeting former Denver Broncos wide receiver Eric Decker, a move that makes sense with the team likely ushering in a new quarterback.
With the explosive Josh Gordon on one side of the ball, adding a big target like Decker would give the team one of the best wide out duos in the league. The 26 year-old had a monster year with the Denver Broncos in 2013 with 11 touchdowns and nearly 1,300 yards receiving.
It's clear the Cleveland Browns won't have a Peyton Manning throwing the football next season, but whoever gets the
starting nod will have confidence with two terrific young talents and likely a new running back in the backfield.
The signing of linebacker Karlos Dansby and Safety Donte Whitner has made the defense one to watch next season, but adding a play maker like Decker would make this team an NFL Playoff contender, something the fans in Cleveland have wanted for several years.
