Auckland - In what should be an exciting encounter, Australia takes on New Zealand in the 2015 World Cup clash on Saturday at the Eden Park in Auckland.
When Australia and New Zealand meet in their 2015 World Cup game at the Eden Park in Auckland, they will be playing only their second game against each other since the previous World Cup — the only other game was washed out in 2013.
The good news from the fans' perspective in both countries is that the Australia v New Zealand game will be streamed live online along with being broadcast on TV across the globe.
So with two teams, who are ranked one and two in the bookmakers' list of favourites clash with each other in a game as important as this, it is only natural for it to be termed as a final before the final. And that's exactly what it will be, given that this could be New Zealand's best chance of overcoming Australia.
Of course, a lot will depend on how the New Zealand batsmen go up against the Aussie bowlers, after they had torn the English bowling away. Already Darren Lehmann, Australia's coach has sounded out that it will be difficult for them to beat the Aussies.
What remains to be seen is how New Zealand respond to this aggression that could be seen a lot of on the pitch too. Will they go after the Aussie bowlers or will the likes of Brendon McCullum go on to smash them to pieces, much like the England game.
For New Zealand, Tim Southee and Trent Boult will hold the key while Australia will depend on David Warner and Steven Smith to get going. The question though is if we will see a really closely-fought encounter or another of those one-sided ones.
