article imageArizona Cardinals news and Rumors: Must make free agent moves

By Larry Seely     Mar 8, 2014 in Sports
Phoenix - Despite a surprising 10-6 record during the 2013 NFL season, the Arizona Cardinals missed the playoffs, but with some terrific talent on both sides of the ball, the key to 2014 could be a couple free agent signings.
The latest rumors from Kyle Odegard has suggested the team will let Andre Roberts leave via free agency and the front office will look for a better wide receiver option. The likelihood of Eric Decker coming to the desert is slim, but a player like Emanuel Sanders or Julian Edelman would give quarterback Carson Palmer the help he needs to be more successful with the team.
Another area of need is offensive tackle as it appears Eric Winston won't be back this season. Bleacher Report writer Ty Schalter believes the front office for the Arizona Cardinals will target former Oakland Raiders tackle Jared Veldheer this off-season.
This team will see some roster changes from last season, but most of the moves will be an upgrade in talent on the roster. Fans of the team are expecting big things from this team in the 2014 NFL season and if they have a good off-season, they could surpass San Francisco or Seattle in the NFC West and make the playoffs this year.
