Cincinnati - The Cincinnati Bengals' quarterback, Andy Dalton, caught a pass, thus scoring a touchdown during the Bengals' game versus the Tennessee Titans. The touchdown marked the first of Dalton's career, for receiving.
During the first quarter of the football game, the Bengals utilized Dalton in a manner that was unanticipated by the Tennessee Titans. According to Yahoo Sports, the Bengals gave the ball to receiver Mohamed Sanu to the right, who then passed the ball to Dalton, who snuck out to the left. Pulling up, Sanu did so and threw out to Dalton.
After catching the pass, Dalton ran the completed pass for a touchdown, marking the first time he's done so in his career in the NFL. Dalton was required to reach higher up, in order to grab the short pass from receiver, Sanu. After catching the ball at the 18-year line, Dalton ran for the remainder of the way, to score the touchdown, allowing the Bengals to take the advantage and take the lead at 10-0, against Tennessee.
According to USA Today, Sanu is now a 4-for-4 as a passer in his career, has a perfect 158.3 QB rating, has thrown for 166 yards, and he has now thrown two touchdown passes.
Eventually, the Bengals completely wiped out the Titans for the evening, as the Bengals went on to win the game 33-7, as the team is still undefeated at 3-0.
The Cincinnati Bengals have a bye-week this week, but will return to playing on October 5th, where they will take on The New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium, on NBC.
