Jacksonville has made the biggest impact this month with several big name signings. The Jaguars added tight end Julius Thomas from Denver to help young signal caller Blake Bortles, but the front office has also upgraded the defense with the addition of Jared Odrick, Dan Skuta, and Davon House. All three of these players should make an immediate impact with their new team and could make the Jags a dark horse in the 2015 season.
Indianapolis is already one of the top teams in the league, but the Colts aren’t standing pat this off-season. The front office has added two solid veterans to an already terrific offense with the signings of Frank Gore and Andre Johnson. These moves have the team ranked inside the top-5 in the latest power rankings and a team to watch this year.
After several disappointing losses over the last couple of years, GM Mike Maccagnan of the NY Jets has made some big moves in his short time with the team. Signing corners Darrelle Revis and Antonio Cromartie will help a porous defense, but the biggest addition was adding All Pro wide receiver Brandon Marshall via trade with Chicago.
The team also looked to add some competition at quarterback with a trade for Ryan Fitzpatrick. His presence could push youngster Geno Smith and give this team the leader it needs on offense to compete with the likes of New England and Buffalo for the top team in the AFC East.
With all the moves already made, Seattle and New England still rank as the top two teams in the NFL. Both squads are primed for another strong season and with some luck and good health, the Seahawks could make history with three straight Super Bowl titles.
